Quinlan's art teacher encouraged her students to do pictures and drawings with ideas and examples of recycling for a calendar project for the local nuclear power plant. Then all of the children who participated had their pictures submitted. Quinlan's was chosen for use in the calendar which is shipped to households all over Monroe County. We were invited to a dinner for all the winners at the Brookwoods Country Club. Each winner received a certificate, tote bag full of crayons, markers, a disposable camera and, when they are completed, 10 copies of the calendar for family and friends. We are very proud of our little artist! Her picture says "Plant some trees in spring".
