Reilly's Birthday - Home Edition

Reilly and some of her girlfriends celebrated her 3rd birthday a little early last week. She chose a Snow White theme. Here she is, with her friend Charlotte Cosgrove, on our front porch in the kid-sized chairs that Aunt Betsy made. I decorated the Snow White cake to match Reilly's dress and headband. We also had a Snow White balloon, decorative bucket, cups and goodie bags.
Here they are enjoying pizza and fruit for lunch, (from lower left) Megan Springer, Ryan Springer, Reilly, Charlotte, Quinlan and Megan Wade.

Reilly's Birthday Party - Keuka Lake Edition

We celebrated Reilly's birthday, and that of everyone else, at Mima's annual Birthday Bash at Poppy's Lake. It was a stormy day but we still had fun. Mima and Poppy gave the little girls (Quinlan, Reilly, Sydney Reilly and Izzy Keville) matching Tinkerbelle jammies and both Reilly and Quinn put theirs' on right away. Reilly blew out the candles on her birthday cookie cake.

Reilly's Birthday Party - Connor cousins edition

Mina and Andee read Mina's birthday card. Reilly shows off her new princess ball.
Reilly and Mina blow out their candles.... Reilly just jumped the gun a little by blowing them out before the song was done.... then she tried to blow out Mina's too.
The Connor Cousins - Max, Will, Reilly, Andee, Mina and Quinlan - out on the new deck.
After we left the lake we stopped in Canandaigua to celebrate birthdays (Reilly's was Sunday 7/12 and Mina's was Monday 7/13) with Uncle Curt, Aunt Mary, Mina, Will and Andee. We had pizza for dinner and then opened gifts and enjoyed cookie cake, strawberry cake and ice cream. Then Chris and I beat Curt and Mary at horseshoes. I definitely need to practice before any sort of rematch.

4th of July

We spent the 4th of July at Poppy's Lake (Keuka Lake, NY) and had a lot of fun. We had a traditional lunch of hotdogs and hamburgers and then enjoyed a bon(air) fire. Here is Max watching the fireworks that the neighbors shot off in the tube that he rides in behind the boat. Reilly and Daddy "oohh" and "aahhh" at the fireworks
Seth helps Ben Hicks with his sparkler. Ben's dad, Brian, is my nephew. Ben's new baby sister, Bree, was sleeping through the festivities.
Seth and Reilly enjoy the show.

Mini Relay for Life

State Road Elementary School had a mini Relay for Life to raise money for cancer research and we participated. After school, Quinlan, Reilly and I met Max at school and walked the circle with some of the other families. We sponsored a star for Poppy and star for Aunt Mary "Poppins" and we all wore our matching Reilly family t-shirts so everyone could tell we were a team. During the school day, the kids walked the circle with their classes and 3 of the teachers got brush-cuts. On our way out, the kids got to pet little baby ducks too.
