Catching up - Quinlan's First Communion 2011

Quinlan celebrated her First Communion at our church, Holy Trinity. She looked beautiful and did a fantastic job reading the intercessions. We had a great party with family and friends after.

Catching up - Quinlan's dance recital 2011

Quinlan's class did a tap number and a ballet number. Same costume, added a tutu for the ballet dance. It was a great show.

Max celebrated his 12th birthday with his favorite girls; Quinlan and Reilly at home and Andee in Canandaigua. Quinlan participated in the State Road Science Fair with her project on Meerkats.

catching up - january & february 2011

January and February brought a lot of fun times and celebrations. Quinlan, Max and Reilly celebrate Grandpa Connor's birthday. Quinlan and her second grade friends try out rollerskates.
Reilly takes Quinlan to "show and share" for the letter "Q" (and yes, Q was having jammie day at school so she is in her pjs) and I helped out with the Valentine's Day party in Max's classroom. We decorated cupcakes with frosting and sprinkles. It was fun and the end of classroom parties for Max and me.

Catching up

Here we are at Susie and Barney's for Christmas. Another whirlwind event. Quinlan sang a solo at Christmas eve mass and then we headed south. Christmas eve and morning at Susie and Barney's, Christmas day with Grandma and Grandpa Connor, the Canandaigua cousins and Aunt Colleen. And the 26th with the Reilly family relatives. Then we drove back to Webster to see what fun stuff Santa had left for us!

Halloween Trick or Treat

Quinlan was a "rock star" complete with 'tude. My black cat, rock star and train engineer ready to trick or treat..... more treat, less trick.

Reilly designed the kitty. I pulled out its' guts and carved it. It was very cute.

Here is Max doing his carving. He did almost the entire thing (except the guts) by himself.

Luckily, Chris helped out with Quinlan's pumpkin.... even the guts.

Can you tell how I feel about guts?? In the immortal words of Linus Van Pelt from Peanuts.... "OHHHHHH, You killed it!"

Quinlan's birthday with Will

Quinlan's final birthday celebration was with the Canandaigua Connors. Here is a picture of Andee, Max, Mina, Will, Quinlan and Reilly. Baby Tessa was sleeping or eating - because that is all she does (according to Reilly). It is hard to believe that these two are 8 years old. Thick as thieves and ready for any kind of trouble that comes their way.

Opening gifts and checking out each other's loot. There were many nice gifts to open and enjoy.
