Snow fun

We got a lot of snow on Thursday night and Friday, with a lot of blowing and drifting. The kids actually had a snow day, first one since we moved here. Then on Friday it snowed almost all day. Today while Chris was using the snowblower on the driveway, the kids were having fun wallowing in it. Here they are sitting on a pile of it directly outside the front door (you didn't actually think I would go out in this stuff just to take a picture, did you?) over the sidewalk. The picture doesn't really show how much we have but there is a lot of it there.

February 25th`

On February 25th I celebrated my 39th birthday (again!). Not really. But we had cake and the kids made me some great cards. Birthdays are ok after all.

Grandpa's birthday

We celebrated Grandpa Connor's birthday on Sunday, February 21st with the Canandaigua Connor Cousins (Mina, Will and Andee) and a really good cake. Hope Grandpa had a great day!

The pheasant

Here is a pheasant that was wandering around out front eating the holly berrys off the bushes. I heard an odd noise one afternoon and looked out the window and there he was. Reilly kept tapping on the window and he'd stop eating and look around and resume eating. I haven't ever seen him before this day or since but Reilly and I thought he was neat.
