This year we tackled egg dyeing ourselves. Quinlan and Max each dyed 4 eggs and I dyed one for Reilly. Although they were impressed with their artistic flair, none wanted to eat the finished product once we were done displaying them. OK, more egg salad and deviled eggs for me!

Saturday lunch
Easter Morning
Easter gifts
The Easter Bunny (and Grandma and Grandpa) brought more than just candy this Easter. Here are pictures of Quinlan and Grandma painting a new bird house, Reilly playing with Quinlan's new baton and Max flying kite 2 of 3.... it seems that kite 1 hit the ground and was totally destroyed, Max let go of kite 2 and it flew away but kite 3 is in the garage waiting for another windy day.
Beauty and the children
Chris, Quinlan, Max and I all enjoyed West High School's production of "Beauty and The Beast" starring Emily Croft as Beauty. Curt, Mary, Mina, Will, Betsy and Lisa all sat with us and it was wonderful. Here are some pictures that I took after the program when the kids got a personal tour of the set and pictures with the star.

It has been a long time.......
Well, we got here, unpacked (pretty much - just a few boxes left in the basement), got Max off to his new school (State Road Elementary), found a new Pediatrician, shopped at Target, went to Wegmans (no WKids playplace - boo hoo hoo) and started Chris on his new job.
We have been through major wind storms (the pilot light on our gas fireplace went out the other night), had snow, sleet, rain, thunder and lightning - all at the same time! We've driven by the Great lake, gotten lost on routine errands (or actually, I have but only twice) and shopped at Target (did I say that already?).
We've had a birthday party here (Happy day, Aunt Min), had overnight guests (Grandma and Grandpa) and still don't have drapes on the toyroom/diningroom windows or in the livingroom or breakfast room (we also don't have any neighbors on those sides).
We've hung blinds on the bedroom windows, pink shears in Quinlan's room (they have little beads on them) and a lot of pictures, but not all of them.
We've come a long way and accomplished a lot. Obviously, upkeep of the blog was not one of those accomplishments. Forgive me and enjoy the following new posts. ARC

Happy Birthday, Aunt Min
Flashback
The caption on Quinlan's picture was "goggle girl". I think her cousin Meggie had this in her dorm room in college because it made her laugh. It made us laugh too. Imagine how surprised we were when Ms. Reilly developed an affinity for the goggle look! And I think that somewhere there is a picture of cousin Nick and Aunt Betsy sporting goggles at Mima's one Christmas. Could it be a trend?
